Conveying system: Mechanical and Pneumatic conveying system

Conveying systems are group of units integrated together to make the transportation of the products or material from one place to another possible. Conveyors are efficient in moving various types of materials from one place to another that is the reason they are so popular in the material handling equipments. Trimech India is the conveying system manufacturer and supplier of two primary types of Conveying systems for handling bulk materials, pneumatic conveying systems and mechanical conveying systems.

Pneumatic Conveying systems

Pneumatic conveyors are used to transport the dry bulk material from one place of process to another through negative conditions or positive conditions. Negative conditions means the material is transported by creating the vacuum and positive conditions means the material is transported by creation of pressure. There are four basic elements of Pneumatic Conveying systems: an air source, a material feed device, a convey line and an air-material separator. These conveying systems are usually enclosed hence reducing the material loss. Some materials that are generally transported by Pneumatic conveying systems are cement, sand, wheat flour etc.

Mechanical Conveying systems

Mechanical Conveyors are used to transport the materials which can be moist, packable or doughy. These conveying systems consist of drive motor and drive device such as rollers. The energy of motor is used to drive the conveyor which is in direct contact with the material to be transported. These conveying systems can be open or closed according to the one’s requirement. The materials generally transferred using mechanical conveying systems are wet sand, whole grains, crushed rocks etc.

Many conveying system providers are not able to help clients to choose from the mentioned two conveying systems but at Trimech India we have dedicated expert team of professionals to understand the need of client and to provide them with best possible solutions.
